Cincinnati Takes Non-League Match From Purdue Fort Wayne

CINCINNATI – Purdue Fort Wayne men's soccer fell in a non-league game at Cincinnati 5-0 on Tuesday (Oct. 1).
The Bearcats scored three goals in the opening half. Darryn Commissiong had an assist on the second goal of the game and then scored both of Cincinnati's goals in the second half.
Purdue Fort Wayne recorded 12 shots in the game. Emil Fosse, Mathias Mikalsen, Nemanja Gvozdic and Alex Frank each had two shots in the contest.
Cincinnati held a 6-5 edge in corner kicks.
The Bearcats improve to 3-6. Purdue Fort Wayne falls to 3-7. The Mastodons return to action on Friday (Oct. 4) at home against the Detroit Mercy Titans. Kick at Hefner is set for 7 p.m.
