The Mastodons take on their first ranked foe of the year on Friday (Nov. 22) when they travel to No. 10 Ohio State.

On Sunday, Nov. 24 Purdue Fort Wayne will host a doubleheader at the Gates Center. The Mastodon women will host Heidelberg at 12:30 p.m. The men will host Ohio Northern at 3 p.m. All area school teachers and administrators can show their school ID at the box office to receive a $5 ticket as part of Educator Appreciation day.

Jarvis Walker, a 6-2 guard from Muskegon, Mich. and Muskegon High School, signed a National Letter of Intent this week to join the Mastodons. He is a two-time all-state player and has scored 1,000 points in his prep career.

• Kansas State transfer Brian Patrick is 28-of-52 (53.8 percent) from the floor over the last four games.
• After fouling out in the opener against UNLV, Brian Patrick hasn't been called for more than two fouls in any game since.

Head coach Jon Coffman owns a 98-72 record. He has the most wins in the NCAA Division I era (2001 to present) in program history. Only Andy Piazza has more wins on the Mastodon bench. Piazza went 142-108 from 1987-96 when the 'Dons were a member of NCAA Division II.

In the latest Graduation Success Rate scores released by the NCAA in October, men's basketball earned a 92. It tied with Notre Dame for third best in the state of Indiana among men's hoops programs.
