Rafuse Sets School Record In 10K At Raleigh Relays

RALEIGH, N.C. – Emma Rafuse set a new school record in the 10K for the Purdue Fort Wayne women's track and field squad at the Raleigh Relays on Friday (March 29), hosted by North Carolina State at the Paul Derr Track.
Rafuse's time of 34:34.93 broke the school record by 50 seconds. It puts her in position to qualify for the first round of nationals. She finished 20th in the event.
Ally Bailey (59.16), Rachel Pierre-Louis (59.16) and Natalie Dye (1:01.33) all set PRs in the 400. Savannah Girolami also ran a time of 1:00.24 in the event.
Olivia Coleman jumped 5.47 meters in the long jump. Lexi O'Connell had a time of 15.91 in the 100 meter hurdles.
The final day of the event will be held on Saturday. The 'Dons will run in the 4x100 and 4x400 relays.
