FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Mastodons welcome Northern Illinois to Fort Wayne for only the third time ever when the Huskies come to the Hefner Soccer Complex on Friday (Sept. 20)

SCOUTING THE MASTODONS (3-3-0, 0-0-0 Summit League)
The Mastodons feature the reigning Summit League Offensive Player of the Week after Blake Cearns picked up the honor on Monday. He had two goals vs. Belmont last Friday. The 'Dons moved back to .500 with a win on Tuesday against Green Bay on Tuesday. The 1-0 win was Purdue Fort Wayne's first shutout of the season. Green Bay had only three shots on goal in the contest. Alex Frank picked up the only goal of the game.
SCOUTING THE HUSKIES (1-4-1, 0-0-0 Mid-American Conference)
Northern Illinois has one win on the season, a 2-1 victory over Bradley on Sept. 15. NIU tied Green Bay 1-1, a squad the Mastodons defeated Tuesday night. NIU is giving up 1.61 goals per contest. The Huskies have scored six goals on the season.
