FARGO, N.D. - Purdue Fort Wayne heads to North Dakota State on Friday (Feb. 14) evening for a Summit League contest against the first place Bison.

KNOW YOUR FOE
NDSU has won five consecutive league games. Their only two losses have been at Oral Roberts 79-73 and at South Dakota State 78-73. NDSU is 10-1 at home this year with their only loss being a 68-62 decision to Utah Valley. At 9-2, the Bison sit in first place in the Summit League.

THE SERIES
NDSU leads the all-time series 17-15. The Bison picked up a 71-60 victory over the 'Dons on Feb. 1 this season at Gates. Deonte Billups had 15 points in the contest to lead the 'Dons. Vinnie Shahid led NDSU with 22 points. Last season in Fargo John Konchar nailed a shot just shy of the buzzer to give the 'Dons the victory.

'DONS AND ENDS
• The Mastodons enter Friday's contest winning three of their last four games. In that stretch four Mastodons (Jarred Godfrey 13.8, Deonte Billups 13.5, Marcus DeBerry 10.8 and Matt Holba 10.5) are scoring in double-digits.
• Matt Holba is shooting 52.4 percent (11-of-24) from three in the last four games.
• The 'Dons are defending the arc well, keeping opponents to 30.9 percent (29-of-94) shooting from three over the last four games.
• In league games only, the 'Dons are second in rebounding at 34.6 per game.
• The 'Dons have recorded double-digit offensive rebounds in 15 games this season. That includes a stretch of nine consecutive games at one point this year.

BILLUPS CAN FILL IT UP
• Deonte Billups has finished in double-digits in seven of his last nine games. This stretch, which starts with the Jan. 8 game at Western Illinois, has seen him twice score 19 points.
• Deonte Billups recorded his first career double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds at Denver.
• Deonte Billups' 8.7 points per game stands as the most a Mastodon freshman has averaged since John Konchar averaged 13.0 as a freshman in 2015-16. Worth noting, Konchar was a redshirt freshman in 2015-16 while Billups is a true freshman.
• Deonte Billups entered the starting lineup for the first game of league play. In Summit League competition he is averaging 12.4 points per game, second best on the team in league play. His 49.0 field goal percentage in league play is second on the team. Only Dylan Carl at 57.1 percent has a better mark in conference play.
• Deonte Billups has 13 games this season with five or more rebounds, including 11 of his last 14 games. He has four times recorded seven or more rebounds in a game.

IN GODFREY WE TRUST
• Jarred Godfrey owns 634 career points, going over the 500-point total on Jan. 8 at Western Illinois.
• Jarred Godfrey picked up his first career Summit League Player of the Week honor on Dec. 2. He helped the 'Dons to wins over Niagara and Grand Canyon. He finished with a career-high 28 points against Grand Canyon.
• Jarred Godfrey is 7th in the league in total points (411).
• He is 3rd in the league in assists (88).
• The Mastodons are 6-2 when Godfrey scores 20 points or more.
• Jarred Godfrey has two double-doubles on the season.

DEFENSE, DEFENSE
• The Mastodons have held six opponents to 60 or fewer points this season.
• The 54 points the Mastodons allowed to Niagara earlier this year is the Mastodons' best defensive effort against a Division I opponent since allowing 51 to UIC on Nov. 18, 2017.
• Against Judson, the Mastodons allowed 11 points in the first half. It was the fewest points the Mastodons have allowed in a half since Judson scored 11 in each half against the Mastodons on Nov. 20, 2012.
