Normally for Winning Wednesday we take a look back at some memorable wins for the 'Dons, but for 12 weeks we'll be featuring the best of the best in Mastodon history. Each week, we'll highlight a class of the Mastodon Hall of Fame.
2012 Hall of Fame Class
Juan Diaz - Men's Soccer - Scored 33 goals in four years for the Mastodons which is the third-most in program history, including 10 in his senior season in 1986 ... Had 28 career assists, which is the most in program history, with 12 in his sophomore season and 10 in his senior season ... Third in program history in career points ... Led the 'Dons to a 12-4-1 record as a freshman ... All-Great Lakes Valley Conference in each of his final three seasons.
Dan Gebhart - Men's Basketball, Administrator - Two-time captain on the men's basketball team in 1975-76 and 1976-77 ... Served in many roles as an administrator, including Associate Athletic Director for Operations ... Was the tournament director for three NCAA Division I Men's Volleyball Tournaments (1988, 1994, and 2000), while the 1994 tournament attendance of 15,495 still ranks as the second-best attended Final Four in NCAA Men's Volleyball history.
Heather Teagarden - Women's Volleyball - All-Great Lakes Valley Conference selection in 1993, 1994 and 1995 ... AVCA All-Great Lakes Region in 1995 ... Member of the 1,000-kill and 1,000-dig clubs ... Led the Mastodons to back-to-back GLVC tournament championships and three seasons with at least 19 wins.
