Normally for Winning Wednesday we take a look back at some memorable wins for the 'Dons, but for 12 weeks we'll be featuring the best of the best in Mastodon history. Each week, we'll highlight a class of the Mastodon Hall of Fame.
2014 Hall of Fame Class
Ricky De La Torre - Men's Soccer - Ended his career as the program's all-time leading goal scorer … Currently stands second in program history … Scored 43 goals over his career … Tied for fifth in all-time assists with 14 total assists … Ranked second in school history with 100 career points … Has three of the 18 10-plus goal seasons in Mastodon history.
Ryan Keena- Baseball - Holds numerous program career records including hits (199), runs scored (140), times hit by pitch (55), stolen bases (96), games played (198), games started (189), and at-bats (662), and second in career doubles (32), RBI's 129), and walks (89) ... 20 hit-by-pitches in 2005 is the single-season school record ... His 33 steals in 2005 and 32 steals in 2006 rank second and third all-time.
Andi Reichart Adams - Women's Volleyball - Ranks sixth in career kills in Mastodon history with 1,505 … Had a .362 career attack percentage setting the school record in that category … Played the most sets in program history with 488 sets … Totaled 1,823.0 career points, ranking her fifth in program history … Her 508 kills in one season rank ninth for all-time single-season kills … Her .436 season attack percentage set Mastodon single-season hitting percentage record … She also holds the leading single-match attack percentage record of .824 with 14 kills, no errors, and 17 attempts against Kentucky Wesleyan in 1997.
Leah Sheets Swing - Women's Basketball - Scored 1,589 total career points which is the fifth-most in program history … Her 14.7 point per game average ranks eighth all-time … Her 596 career field goal makes rank fourth all-time … She ranks fourth all-time in program history with 396 free throw makes … She averaged double-figure scoring in all four seasons for the Mastodons, increasing from 11.3 points per game as a freshman to 18.7 as a senior as well as reaching her 1,000th career point during her junior campaign.
