FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Purdue Fort Wayne men's golf will return to the Dayton, Ohio area on Sunday, April 18, when they compete at the Wright State Invitational.

The last time the Wright State Invitational was played was in 2019, since the COVID-19 pandemic canceled the 2020 edition. The medalist of that tournament was Mastodon alumnus Zach Schroeder, who shot the best 36-hole mark with a 136 (-4).

Now that Kasey Lilly has played in 25 rounds, he meets the qualification for the program's career scoring average rankings. He has a 74.00 career average, which is the best in program history. He is ahead of Zach Schroeder (74.36), who holds the low-18, low-36, low-54 records and the only league championship in Mastodon history. Eric Brinker is sixth in program history with a 75.27 average in 82 rounds.
Top-10 Finishes
Eric Brinker has five top-10 finishes in his career. He had two in each of his freshman and sophomore seasons and one as a junior in 2019-20. Kasey Lilly has been in the top 10 twice, tying Brinker for seventh at the Gary Freeman Invitational in March 2020 and tying for seventh at the Benbow Invitational in 2021.
