Alise Hale Selected to Horizon League All-Academic Team

INDIANAPOLIS - Purdue Fort Wayne's Alise Hale was selected as one of the 14-member Horizon League softball All-Academic team, the league announced on Tuesday, June 1.
To be eligible for the Horizon League All-Academic Team, student-athletes must participate in 50 percent of the team's overall contests, complete one year at the member school and pass 24 credit hours at that institution. Eligible candidates must have completed one academic year prior to the start of their athletic season. Have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.20 on a 4.00 scale.
Hale, who just finished her third season at Purdue Fort Wayne, is majoring in biology. She was a two-time Summit League Academic Honor Roll member, and picked up the Horizon League Academic Honor Roll in the fall of 2020. In 2018-19, Hale was selected as an Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete.
Through her third year in the biology program, Hale has a 3.81 GPA. She started in 33 games as a junior and recorded 19 hits. She helped lead Purdue Fort Wayne to its most league wins since 2014, with 11 in the team's first in the Horizon League.
