Men's Golf Set to Wrap Up Fall Season

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Purdue Fort Wayne men's golf team will play in its final tournament of the fall season on Monday and Tuesday (Oct. 17-18) at the TVA Community Credit Union Invitational.

Mastodon Lineup
Kasey Lilly, Burke Pitz, Jadden Ousley, Nick Holder and Hunter Mefford will play for the Mastodons' team score. Reece Compton will be the only individual this week for the 'Dons.

Focused at the Feaganes
Purdue Fort Wayne's team score of 860 at the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational on September 12-13 was the sixth-best 54-hole score in program history.

A Litany of Lilly
Kasey Lilly holds all of the primary records in Purdue Fort Wayne men's golf history. In his career, he also has 11 top-10's, seven top-5's, and has won two tournaments: the Tom Tontimonia Invitational and the Benbow Invitational.

The 2022-23 men's golf squad has the best average in program history at 293.3. Last season's Mastodons had the best full-season mark in the program's record book with a 294.2 average.

Last Time Out
The Mastodons took seventh at the Tom Tontimonia Invitational, shooting three rounds under 300. They were the Mastodons' 10th, 11th and 12th rounds under 300 this season.

Coming Up
The Mastodons are done competing this fall and will return in February. Their first tournament is in Orlando, Florida at the Mickey Mouse Intercollegiate (Feb. 19-21).
