Mastodons Put Unbeaten League Record to Test With Northern Kentucky and Wright State

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Purdue Fort Wayne women's soccer team (6-2-4, 2-0-2) will welcome Northern Kentucky (1-6-2, 1-2-1) to Fort Wayne on Thursday (Oct. 6) and travel to Wright State (6-4-2, 3-0-2) on Sunday (Oct. 9) for a pair of Horizon League games.

Samantha Castaneda was named Horizon League Defensive Player of the Week for the third time this season on October 3. She led the Mastodons to a 0-0 tie against Milwaukee to earn the honor. She is the only player in the league to earn Defensive Player of the Week multiple times this season.
