FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Purdue Fort Wayne men's golf team will be back in action on Monday and Tuesday (March 28-29) at the Butler Spring Invitational.

I Wanna Be The Very Best
The Purdue Fort Wayne men's golf team has the best four-player average in program history this season by a significant margin. The Mastodons are averaging 293.9 shots per round, topping the previous best from 2011-12 by nearly five shots per round. The 'Dons also have the best win/loss percentage in program history, beating 58.9 percent of their foes this season.
The Two Best
Kasey Lilly (71.8) and Tyler Green (73.2) own two of the three best season averages in program history in the 2021-22 season. The second-place spot is also held by Lilly from last season.
Benbow Blessings
The Purdue Fort Wayne men's squad won the Benbow Invitational on March 8, getting an individual win from Kasey Lilly as well. Lilly shot a 72-68-140, leading the team to a 293-282-575. It was the seventh individual trophy that a Mastodon has won in program history and the Mastodons' fourth team championship.
On a Roll! The Honor Roll!
Seven Mastodon men's golfers were also named to the Horizon League Academic Honor Roll: Reece Compton, Jacob Deakyne, Kasey Lilly, Hunter Mefford, Luke Miller, Jadden Ousley and Burke Pitz.

The Mastodons took third at the Sacred Heart Invitational behind a top-10 performance from Kasey Lilly.
Next Time Up
The Mastodons will have their last tournament before the Horizon League Championship when they head to Batavia, Ohio to play in The Jewell on April 10-11, hosted by Northern Kentucky.
