FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Purdue Fort Wayne track & field teams travel to Rochester, Mich. to compete in the Golden Grizzles Invitational on Friday and Saturday April 8 and 9.
A second group of athletes are set to compete in the Monday Meet, hosted by Indiana Tech on Monday, April 11.

The following athletes rank in the top 10 in the Horizon League in their respective events.
In sprint events, Brent Donaldson (22.43 seconds) and Braxton Trittipo (22.64 seconds) are sixth and eighth in the 200-meter dash. Trittipo (50.46 seconds) and Joe Cartwright (50.94 seconds) are seventh and eighth in the 400-meter dash.
In hurdles, Donaldson is third (55.66 seconds) in the 400-meter hurdles and fifth (15.21 seconds) in 110-meter hurdles.
In mid-distance & distance events, Draven Thompson (4:00.97) and Husam Saleh (4:03.45) are seventh and 10th in the 1500-meter run. Kobe Milledge (1:57.50) is eighth in the 800-meter run.
In field events, Cody Loshe (4.45 meters) is fourth in the pole vault. Luke Beehler is seventh in the long jump (6.62 meters). Austin Dove is ninth in the high jump (1.85 meters).
In throwing events, Aaron Martin is second in the javelin (61.99 meters), fifth in the shot put (14.71 meters), sixth in the discus (44.72 meters) and 10th in the hammer throw (41.41 meters). Zyler Johnson is fifth in the hammer throw (45.34 meters), seventh in the discus throw (44.10 meters) and 10th in the shot put (13.58 meters).
Asher Walden is fourth in the discus throw (50.02 meters). Kai Auernheimer is fifth in the javelin throw (52.29 meters). Garrett Anglemeyer is seventh in the shot put (14.17 meters), eighth in the hammer throw (41.75 meters) and ninth in the discus throw (40.68 meters).

In hurdles, Jesseca Hudson-Turpin (14.14 seconds), Jordan Yanders (14.26 seconds), Dylan Kirkwood (14.67 seconds) and Sophia Buck (14.72 seconds) are fourth, fifth, eighth and ninth in the 100-meter hurdles. Buck (1:04.43), Hudson-Turpin (1:04.78) and Kirkwood (1:04.79) are fifth, seventh and eighth in the 400-meter hurdles.
In mid-distance & distance events, Madison King is second in the 1500-meter run (4:40.34), second in the 10,000-meter run (36:24.45), and 10th in the 5,000-meter run (17:43.75). Brooke Neal is eighth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase (11:53.11). Makaila Groves (2:20.60) is 10th in the 800-meter run.
In field events, Selena Johnson (12.08 meters) and Louiza Kruiswijk (11.20 meters) and Mariah Oberhaus (10.57 meters) first, sixth and 10th in the triple jump. Jai Reed (5.46 meters), Kruiswijk (5.40 meters) are fourth and fifth in the long jump. Miranda Haney is fifth in the high jump (1.60 meters).
In throwing events, Megan Sinnott (37.47 meters), Ramey Wilder (29.29 meters) and Abbigail Garwood (28.00 meters) are third, eighth and 10th in the javelin throw. Nakia Harris-Campbell (11.85 meters) and Garwood (11.65 meters) are eighth and ninth in the shot put. Harris-Campbell is sixth in the discus (37.96 meters).
