Track & Field Set to Compete at Oakland and Indiana Tech

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Purdue Fort Wayne track & field teams travel to Rochester, Mich. to compete in the Golden Grizzles Invitational on Friday and Saturday April 8 and 9.
A second group of athletes are set to compete in the Monday Meet, hosted by Indiana Tech on Monday, April 11.

In sprint events, Brent Donaldson (22.43 seconds) and Braxton Trittipo (22.64 seconds) are sixth and eighth in the 200-meter dash. Trittipo (50.46 seconds) and Joe Cartwright (50.94 seconds) are seventh and eighth in the 400-meter dash.
In hurdles, Donaldson is third (55.66 seconds) in the 400-meter hurdles and fifth (15.21 seconds) in 110-meter hurdles.
In mid-distance & distance events, Draven Thompson (4:00.97) and Husam Saleh (4:03.45) are seventh and 10th in the 1500-meter run. Kobe Milledge (1:57.50) is eighth in the 800-meter run.
In field events, Cody Loshe (4.45 meters) is fourth in the pole vault. Luke Beehler is seventh in the long jump (6.62 meters). Austin Dove is ninth in the high jump (1.85 meters).
In throwing events, Aaron Martin is second in the javelin (61.99 meters), fifth in the shot put (14.71 meters), sixth in the discus (44.72 meters) and 10th in the hammer throw (41.41 meters). Zyler Johnson is fifth in the hammer throw (45.34 meters), seventh in the discus throw (44.10 meters) and 10th in the shot put (13.58 meters).
Asher Walden is fourth in the discus throw (50.02 meters). Kai Auernheimer is fifth in the javelin throw (52.29 meters). Garrett Anglemeyer is seventh in the shot put (14.17 meters), eighth in the hammer throw (41.75 meters) and ninth in the discus throw (40.68 meters).
