Hall Tops For Mastodons at Indiana State

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - Freshman Austin Hall led the Purdue Fort Wayne men's cross country squad at the John McNichols Invite on Saturday (Sept. 17) morning, hosted by Indiana State University.
Hall ran an 8K time of 26:02.7 for 67th. It bested his 8K time last week by a second and a half.
Husam Saleh took 80th, stopping the clock in 26:15.7. Kehinde Oladapo (26:16.1) was right behind and Andrew Whitinger (26:16.6) followed in 82nd.
Draven Thompson (26:27.4) finished in the points for the 'Dons with a 90th place finish. Nicholas Mills (26:33.4) was 99th and Jarred Neff (26:34.7) was 100th.
Nathan Mills took 105th (26:42.3). Freshman Harrison Niswander ran a time of 26:57.1. Kobe Milledge finished in 27:42.6. Weston Miser stopped the clock in 27:48.4. Colin Gasson finished in 27:59.7 and Colten Gasson ran a time of 28:12.5. Noah Wright (28:19.0), Jack Mills (29:28.0) and Seth Mills (29:36.5) followed.
The 'Dons were 12th (332). Illinois won the event with a score of 51.
Purdue Fort Wayne is back in action on Oct. 1 at the Live in Lou Classic.
