Cross Country Heads to the Live in Lou Classic

FORT WAYNE Ind. - The Mastodon men's and women's cross country teams hit the road on Saturday (Oct. 1) to take part in the Live in Lou Classic. The course has played host to the 2012, 2015 and 2017 NCAA Division I National Championships. The 'Dons will be in the blue race for both the men's and women's events.

The Mastodons last had a 12th place finish at the John McNichols Invitational. Austin Hall was a standout for the 'Dons with a team best time of 26:02.7. Close behind Hall was Husam Saleh with a time of 26:15.7 and Kehinde Oladapo with a performance of 26:16.1.

Last Time Out:
Riley Tate earned the Horizon League Freshman of the Week Award after a time of 19:10.2 for 59th at the 18-team John McNichols Invite in the 5K. She had the best 5K time of any freshman in the league.

About the Course:
The Live in Lou Classic is one of the most highly attended college and high school cross country events in the United States. The E.P.
