Purdue Fort Wayne MVB Hosts Missouri S&T and Harvard This Weekend

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Purdue Fort Wayne men's volleyball team will take to the Arnie Ball Court again this week for a pair of matches against first-year program Missouri S&T and EIVA staple Harvard.

• Missouri S&T already picked up the first win in its program history, and is 1-2 coming to the Summit City on Friday. The Miners fell to No. 12 Loyola Chicago and No. 15 Lewis to start the year, then got a win over Kentucky State. Aaron Sallade and Nate Meyer are leading the team, both averaging over 2.50 kills per set.
• Harvard is 2-0 to start the year with wins over former EIVA foe Sacred Heart and Merrimack. Last year, the Crimson were 12-13 and 10-6 in the EIVA. Harvard has three players who are averaging more that 2.00 kills per set through two matches: Zach Berty, Kade McGovern and Owen Fanning.

Jon Diedrich and Bryce Walker were selected by MIVA head coaches to the 2023 Preseason All-MIVA Team. Diedrich was a First Team All-MIVA honoree in 2022, while Walker was a Second Team pick.
