Mastodon Cross Country Squads Earn USTFCCCA All-Academic Team Honors

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Both Mastodon cross country squads have earned a 2022 U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team honor.
In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period.
The men's team put together a GPA of 3.61, 13th best in the nation among men's squads and best in the Horizon League. The Mastodon women's team earned a GPA of 3.49 to pick up the All-Academic Team honor.
On the course in 2022, the Mastodon women were fifth at the Horizon League Championships while the men took third.
