A trip to the Horizon League Championship is on the line as the Mastodons enter the week in fifth place with 11 points. Oakland sits in first with 15 points, IUPUI, Green Bay, and Detroit Mercy are all tied for second at 14. The 'Dons are in fifth place with 11 points. The top seed hosts the semifinals and title game with the No. 2 seed earning a bye to the semifinals. No. 3 hosts No. 6 and No. 4 hosts No. 5 in the quarterfinals.

Special Season
With a win on Wednesday, Purdue Fort Wayne will win their fourth league game of the season. The Mastodons have never won more than three league matches since they made the move to Division I in 2001. Of note, however, multiple seasons in the Summit League saw only five league games on the schedule due to not every team in the league sponsoring men's soccer.
Stomp The Stigma
Wednesday's game will be the men's soccer program's Stomp The Stigma contest, with the goal of stomping out the stigma of mental health treatment. There will be special PA announcements, free bracelets and t-shirts thrown out in the stands. For information on Purdue Fort Wayne's mental health resources, visit this link.
Nine Times? Nine Times!
Seth Mahlmeister has had a knack for finding the net this season. In the 'Dons' draw with Cleveland State, Mahlmeister snuck a ball just inside the right post off a corner kick for his league-best ninth goal of the season. It's the fifth-most goals in a season in Purdue Fort Wayne's NCAA Division I era.
A Helping Hand
Soshi Fujioka delivered the corner kick that led to Mahlmeister's goal, giving him a league-best eight assists this season. It's the fourth-most in Purdue Fort Wayne's DI era, the most in the Horizon League, and the 18th most nationally this season.
Lots of Shots
Purdue Fort Wayne ranks 23th in the nation with 6.14 shots on goal per match. Seth Mahlmeister leads the Horizon League with an average of 2.14 shots on goal per match, the 4th highest average in the nation. Mahlmeister also has the 12th highest total shot average in the nation with 3.79 per match.
Balanced Attack
The Mastodons have seen 12 different players score a goal this season. Seth Mahlmeister leads the team with nine goals and Abe Arellano has two. It's the most goal scorers since 12 different Mastodons scored a goal in 2005.
Literal Goals
