'Dons to Compete at Doug Raymond Invitational

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Purdue Fort Wayne track and field teams are set to compete at the Doug Raymond Invitational this weekend, hosted by Kent State. A quartet of Mastodons will also be running at the IUPUI Invitational as well.

On Last Week - Women:
Louiza Kruiswijk's school record highlighted last week's Mastodon Invite. Kruiswijk won the triple jump event with a school record mark of 11.83m. Purdue Fort Wayne also won the long jump as Jai Reed jumped 5.39m to win the event. Elsewhere in the field, Nakia Harris-Campbell had the top mark in the weight throw of 15.91m. On the track, Jordan Yanders won both the 60 meter hurdles and the 200 meters while the distance medley relay team won the title with a time of 12:25.85.

Francesca Carlo (shotput, weight throw), Abbigail Garwood (shotput, weight throw), Jesseca Hudson-Turpin (60 hurdles), Kassie Jordan (200, 400), Dylan Kirkwood (60 hurdles, pent), Madeline McClerren (200, 400), Korynne Mogan (200, 400), Jai Reed (60, 200), Marissa Van De Weg (400) and Ellie Zagel (pent).
On Last Week - Men:
The 'Dons won four events while competing in friendly confines at the Mastodon Invite last weekend. Harrison Niswander took home the 3000 meter title with a new school record time of 8:20.46 and also was a part of the top distance medley relay team with Jarred Neff, Kobe Milledge, and Kehinde Oladapo. Niswander was named the league's runner of the week for his effort. Ezra Lewellen also found success on the track at Lutheran Health Fieldhouse as he won the 60 meters. Freshman Andrew Roman also won the pole vault with his collegiate best 4.55m.

Kai Auernheimer (hep), Hunter Crew (shotput, weight throw), Brent Donaldson (200, 400), Owen Kaufman (shotput, weight throw), Brevin Miller (shotput, weight throw), Jonas Morris (200, 400) and Brejion Peters (hep).
Running in Indy
Four men's distance runners will be staying closer to home this weekend. Kehinde Oladapo, Kobe Milledge, Seth Mills, and Jack Mills will all compete at the IUPUI Invitational in the 800 meters on Saturday.

Purdue Fort Wayne is set to split the squad between two meets next weekend. The 'Dons will compete at both the Mrs. G Invitational and the Meyo Invitational on Friday (Feb. 2) and Saturday (Feb. 3).
