Mastodons and Cleveland State to Clash Over Third Place in League Standings

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Purdue Fort Wayne and Cleveland State women's volleyball teams will meet this weekend for a pair of league matches. The two squads are currently tied for third in the Horizon League standings.

Liberty Torres (3.81 kills per set) and Nia Hall (3.01 kills per set) are leading the Vikings offensively, while Emma Walker is third in the HL in league matches only with 5.36 digs per set.

Panna Ratkai was selected as the Horizon League's Player of the Week after 49 kills in two wins over Oakland. It was her sixth weekly award, putting her in sixth in league history.
Jonesing For a Fanum Tax
Nicole Jones had three double-doubles in a row against Michigan State, Saint Francis (Pa.) and Indiana State, marking the first time since 2021 a Mastodon had done so. She was named the Purdue Fort Wayne Invitational MVP for her efforts.
You Betts-a Believe It
LonDynn Betts became a member of the 1,000-dig club at Michigan State on September 17. She became the 21st Mastodon to join the club, and the first since Rachael Crucis in 2022.
