CLEVELAND, Ohio – Cleveland State used 3-0 decision to defeat the Purdue Fort Wayne men's soccer team on Saturday (Oct. 26) evening at Krenzler Field.
It was a scoreless game for nearly 40 minutes but the Vikings struck in the 39th minute. Bojan Kolevski scored on a goal assisted by Matteo Correia and Tom Mertz. Correia scored in the 62nd minute and Kolevski added a goal in the 75th minute to extend their lead.
Cleveland State finished with an 8-3 edge in shots on goal.
Dakota Hart came off the bench to record a shot on goal for the 'Dons.
Cleveland State improves to 5-6-3 (2-4-1 Horizon League). The 'Dons fall to 6-5-2 (3-3-1 Horizon League). Purdue Fort Wayne hosts Northern Kentucky on Friday.
