Anthony Roberts Scores 31 in Victory at Green Bay

GREEN BAY, Wis. – Purdue Fort Wayne limited Green Bay to a 35.0 percent shooting performance on Friday (Feb. 23) to lift the Mastodons to an 85-59 victory at Green Bay.
The win extended the win streak over the Phoenix to seven games. The win also bounced the Phoenix from first place.
The Mastodons scored the first nine points of the game and never looked back. As a sign of things to come, Anthony Roberts had five of the points.
The 'Dons would take leads of 15-2, 22-4 and 32-9 as the 'Dons left Green Bay with no answers. Roberts had 19 in the first half to help the 'Dons lead 47-23 at the break. Quinton Morton-Robertson opened the scoring in the second half with a three and Jalen Jackson followed with a layup to make the final 19 minutes academic.
Roberts finished with an 11-17 shooting night and a 5-of-9 evening beyond the arc for 31 points. It his most as a Mastodon. Jackson added 17 points, nine rebounds and four assists. Rasheed Bello totaled 16 points.
The Mastodon offense had only four turnovers and shot 50.8 percent (33-of-65) from the floor. Green Bay had zero steals in the game.
The Mastodons improve to 18-10 (9-8 Horizon). The Phoenix fall to 17-11 (12-5 Horizon). Purdue Fort Wayne is at Milwaukee on Sunday.
