
GCAA Honors Men’s Golf With Presidents Special Recognition Award

NORMAN, Okla. – The Purdue Fort Wayne men's golf team has been awarded the Presidents Special Recognition honor by the Golf Coaches Association of America, the organization announced on Tuesday (July 30).
The Presidents Special Recognition honor is bestowed to programs with a team GPA of 3.50 or better in 2023-24. Purdue Fort Wayne and Green Bay were the only two programs to earn the honor in the Horizon League.
The 'Dons compiled a GPA of 3.78 to earn the award. A total of 59 NCAA Division I programs earned the honor.
On the course, Purdue Fort Wayne finished second at the 2024 Horizon League Championship.
