The Norse opened league play with a 95-80 win over Cleveland State. LJ Wells led the Norse with 21 points and 10 rebounds. NKU is on a six-game win streak.
Series History
NKU leads the all-time series 31-16. The series dates back to 1981. The two teams were long time rivals in the NCAA Division II Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Norse took both games from the Mastodons last year. The Norse won 69-68 in overtime in Highland Heights, and 79-74 in Fort Wayne on Feb. 27.
