No Fooling! Grace Hollopeter Named #HLSB Player of the Week

INDIANAPOLIS - Purdue Fort Wayne softball junior Grace Hollopeter was selected as the Horizon League's Player of the Week on Tuesday (April 1).

Hollopeter led the Mastodons to a 3-1 week with a series sweep of Detroit Mercy. For the week, she had a .538 batting average and 1.385 slugging percentage with 12 RBIs.

Against the Titans, Hollopeter hit .667 and slugged 1.778 with 10 RBIs. In the doubleheader against Detroit Mercy, Hollopeter went 6-for-6 with three home runs. This year, Hollopeter is leading the Horizon League with a .403 batting average. In league play, she's at .533 for batting average and 1.267 for slugging percentage, both leading the league. She leads the league in batting average, slugging percentage, on-base percentage and OPS.

This is Hollopeter's second Player of the Week award this season and fourth of her career.

Hollopeter and the Mastodons are back in action on Friday (April 4) at Youngstown State before welcoming Cleveland State to Fort Wayne on Tuesday (April 8).
