FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Fresh off matching its program's 54-hole record, the Purdue Fort Wayne men's golf team will hit the course again on Saturday and Sunday (Sept. 13-14) at the Golden Grizzlies Intercollegiate.

Oakland University's Golf and Learning Center located on the beautifully wooded campus of Oakland University is home to two world-class golf courses: The R&S Sharf Golf Course and the Katke-Cousins Golf Course. These championship courses have hosted numerous professional and amateur tournaments. At Oakland University's Golf & Learning Center, you will find a world-class practice facility with separate areas for full swing, short game and bunker play. It starts with a spacious driving range with over 30,000 square feet of bent grass hitting area and 28 top of the line hitting mats. Separate teaching tees provide a truly private instruction. Well-defined targets and landing areas help simulate course conditions.

The Mastodons shot an 846 at the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational on September 8-9, which matched the program record for a 54-hole event.
Best in the Fort
All of the Mastodon squad played in the Fort Wayne Golf Association City Championship in early August, with five earning spots in the top-10. Justin Hicks won the event (68-75-72) and Julian Dugan was the runner-up (69-73-74).
Last Time Out
Purdue Fort Wayne took sixth at the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational thanks to a program record 846. Justin Hicks led the team with a 3-under 210.

The 'Dons are back in action on September 20-21 at the Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational in Muncie, Indiana.
