ALLENDALE, Mich. - The Purdue Fort Wayne men's track and field team completed competition at GVSU's Big Meet on Saturday (Feb. 14), the Mastodons set 12 personal records at the meet.

Three 'Don runners set personal record times in the 800 meters at GVSU: Kale Seymour (1:56.02), Aaron Hoffer (1:57.43) and Troy Golden (1:57.90).

Another three Purdue Fort Wayne runners finished with prs in the mile: Marcus Ridge (4:30.66), Andrew Arnos (4:32.75) and Jackson Marshall (4:39.92).

Owen Kaufman (16.43m) and Tyler Bowman (13.73m) threw personal record weight throw distances in the Big Meet.

Max Parciak (14.93m) and Luca Merita (11.86m) set shot put prs at GVSU.

Merita also cleared a personal record 3.90 meters in pole vault, along with his first collegiate high jump mark of 1.72 meters.

The Mastodons will tackle the 2026 Horizon League Championships on February 28 and March 1, held at Youngstown State.
