ALLENDALE, Mich. - The Purdue Fort Wayne women's track and field team completed competition at GVSU's Big Meet on Saturday (Feb. 14), the Mastodons set seven personal records at the meet.

Emery Carrico led the 'Dons in shot put, throwing a mark of 13.70 meters. The toss would rank fifth in the Horizon League, but the junior already holds third.

Three Purdue Fort Wayne runners set personal records in the mile at GVSU: Amanda Williams (5:27.75), Violet Francisco (5:35.17) and Nori Silva (5:39.55).

Carrico followed up her shot put day with a personal record weight throw toss of 12.77 meters. Ellie Zagel also threw a pr in the event, reaching 14.17 meters.

Faith Allen ran a personal record 3000 meters at the Big Meet, finishing in 10:36.31.

Ava McAlexander cleared a pr 4.70 meters in the long jump.

Faith Norris finished her first collegiate 800 meters in 2:26.35.

The Mastodons will tackle the 2026 Horizon League Championships on February 28 and March 1, held at Youngstown State.
