ANGOLA, Ind. - The Purdue Fort Wayne men's track and field program took on the Mrs. G Invitational, hosted by Trine, on Friday (Feb. 6).

Michael Drohosky won the high jump at the meet, tying his personal record with a mark of 2.01 meters.

Two Mastodon sprinters set personal record times in the 60 meter dash preliminary round: Tristen Newsome (7.01) and Jaylin Springer (7.02). Both runners qualified to the event final. Springer set another PR in the final round, running the event in 7.01.

Denton Jacobs (15.36 meters) and Tyler Bowman (13.66) both threw personal record marks in the weight throw.

Andrew Arnos ran a PR time in the 3000 meters, finishing in 9:13.78.

The Mastodons will travel to their final meet prior to the 2026 Horizon League Indoor Championships (Feb. 28), traveling to GVSU's Big Meet (Feb. 13).
