Riley Rosneck Named #HLVB Player of the Week

INDIANAPOLIS - After leading Purdue Fort Wayne to wins over Rutgers and Evansville, Riley Rosneck of the Mastodon women's volleyball team was selected as one of the two Horizon League Players of the Week, the league announced on Monday (Aug. 31).
Purdue Fort Wayne was one of four 2-1 teams this week, but the only one to knock off a major conference foe. Behind Rosneck's league-leading 5.14 kills per set, the Mastodons beat Rutgers in five sets and Evansville in four. Even in a five-set loss to Bellarmine, Rosneck racked up 33 kills, the second-most by any student-athlete in Division I this season. That mark was also the fourth-most by a Mastodon in program history. In addition to the volume, Rosneck was efficient at .313 for the week. She also added 2.50 digs per set.
Rosneck is the first Mastodon to pick up a Player of the Week award since 2024.
Rosneck and the Mastodons will be back in action on Tuesday (Sept. 1) with a match at Toledo.
