The Purdue Fort Wayne women's soccer team shut out Saint Xavier 3-0 in the Mastodons' final non-league game of the season on Sunday (Sept. 13). Scarlett Webster put the 'Dons on the board in the 16th minute, finishing a cross from
Amanda Leonard into the back of the net. Dalia Sabet added her first collegiate goal in the 42nd minute to put Purdue Fort Wayne in front 2-0 at halftime. In the 83rd minute, Bella Masse broke away from the Saint Xavier defense and placed a shot into the bottom-left corner of the net to extend the Mastodons' lead. The Mastodons finished with a 31-9 advantage in shots and recorded 22 shots on goal, the second-most in a single match in program history. Purdue Fort Wayne also held a 6-2 edge in corner kicks.
