Andrew Strong Named #HLXC Runner of the Week

INDIANAPOLIS - After breaking the Purdue Fort Wayne 6k program record at the Rumble in the Fort, freshman Andrew Strong was named Horizon League Runner of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday (Sept. 22).

Strong was the first Mastodons to cross the finish line, placing eighth out of 52 runners with a program record time of 18:50.2.

Strong and the Mastodons will be back in action on Saturday (Oct. 2) at the Joe Piane Invite hosted by Notre Dame.
