Illinois State enters Sunday's game with a 2-1-3 overall record. The Redbirds opened their season with wins over Northern Illinois and Lindenwood before tying UT Martin, Northwestern and Saint Louis. According to a survey of SIDs conducted by Duke, at least 55 NCAA women's soccer programs reported having at least one set of sisters, either as players or as a player and coach. Purdue Fort Wayne is one of those programs, with freshman Lexi Toporcer and redshirt sophomore Maci Toporcer. In addition, 32 programs feature a set of twins, including Illinois State sophomores Rowann and Rylann Law.
A Record-Setting Party
The Purdue Fort Wayne men's and women's soccer teams drew a combined record crowd of 1,229 fans to the Hefner Soccer Complex for the annual Party at the Pitch on Thursday (Sept. 3). The crowd set a new home record for the programs.
Last Time Out
The Purdue Fort Wayne women's soccer team fell 2-0 against Valparaiso during Party at the Pitch. Audriana Rhyner recorded the Mastodons' first shot of the match in the ninth minute against the Beacons. Amanda Leonard led Purdue Fort Wayne with two shots, including one on goal. Paige Radel, Cyann Retzloff, Mary McArdle and Madelyn Bravata also recorded shots for the Mastodons.

The Mastodons will close out non-league action at NAIA Saint Xavier on Sunday (Sept. 13).
