HIGH SCHOOL
Simmons was All-Conference at Jay Country High School in Portland, Ind. She was a sectional champion in the 1600 meters and 3200 meter runs, was a Cross Country sectional and regional runner-up , a 2012 Indoor State 3200 meter qualifier and also qualified at the 2012 Miracle Mile.
