2009-2010 SEASON
For the third straight season, Recht was named Summit League's women's tennis player of the year during the 2009-2010 season...she became the first three-time player of the year receipt in conference history...went 22-3 overall and continued to not lose a conference match in her IPFW career when she went 6-0 in conference play...Recht and her doubles partner, Ingrid Ballus, went 18-5 overall and a perfect 5-0 conference mark...in the 2009-2010 season, Rect was one of the the league's player of the week, twice...contributed to the Mastodons winning the 2009-2010 Summit League championship.

2008-2009 SEASON
As a sophomore for the Royal Blue and White, Recht continued her fine IPFW career by putting together one of the best season's in school history..in the spring, she went 25-2, (7-0) in singles play and 19-6, (6-2) in doubles, paired with longtime partner Sachi Janek...for the second time in her young career, Recht was named Summit League female athlete of the year...earned first team all-conference accolades for the second year in a row...won player of the week honors three times in 2009...female athlete of the month for April...in the summer of 2009, Recht finished runner-up in the Women's Fort Wayne City Championship.

2007-2008 SEASON
In her freshman year, Recht had a 31-5 singles record and 25-8 doubles record...named Summit League Player of the year...Summit League Newcomer of the Year...selected first team all-Summit League...three-time Summit League player of the week...named Summit League Female athlete of the month in January 2008...in the Detroit Invitational, Recht won the No.1 singles competition and No.2 doubles event...she was voted team MVP...IPFW female athlete of the year.

HIGH SCHOOL
Recht graduated from Homestead in 2007...played No. 1 singles under Jim Shull for the Spartans...named to the Honor Roll all four years...All-Conference...All-State...All-Area...won the Women's Fort Wayne City Championship in 2007.

Amy is the daughter of Mark and Jeanine Recht...has one brother, Ryan...general studies major at IPFW.
