2010 OUTDOOR: Ran the 10,000-meter run at the Lee Calhoun Invitational on April 9, finishing the 25-lap race in a time of 40:45.15, becoming the sixth fastest 10k competitor at IPFW in the event...Ran the 5,000-meter run five times during the season, finishing with the sixth fastest time on the season at the Mike Poehlin Invitational on April 3 with a time of 18:31.98, becoming the eighth fastest 5k runner in program history.
2009-10 INDOOR: Finished with the team's fastest time in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 10:35.75 at the Tom Wright Classic, running under 11 minutes in the event three times overall during the year...Had the team's top three times in the 5,000-meter run, including a season-best time of 18:40.31, becoming the sixth fastest 5k runner in school history.
2009 OUTDOOR: Ran her season-best time of 41:32.47 in the 10,000-meter run at the Alabama Relays, and nearly topped that witha 42:31.71 at the Dave Rankin Invitational hosted by Purdue University...Ran the 5,000-meter run four times during the year, with her season-best coming at the Miami Invitational (18:41.80), as she nearly broke the 19-minute mark with a 19:08.14 at the Ohio University Invitational.
2008-09 INDOOR: In her first competitive track season at IPFW, she ran to season-best times of 5:28.31 in the mile, 10:54.79 in the 3,000, and 19:03.53 in the 5,000...Her 5:28.31 in the mile was five seconds faster than her next best of the indoor season, and her time in the 3k was a second faster than her next best time of 10:55.39.

HIGH SCHOOL: Matusik was named All-PCC Conference for four seasons at Boone Grove High School in Valparaiso, Indiana. She was also named All-PCC in track and field. Graduated with honors and was a member of the Academic National Honor Society.
PERSONAL: Kim is the daughter of James and JoAnne Matusik. She has two sisters, Amy and Amber. She will be majoring in Finance at IPFW.
