2010 Season
Landwehr saw action in 29 games in 2010, starting 26. Hit .228 with a slugging percentage of .443. Landwehr hit four home runs and drove in 12 runs. Threw out two would-be base stealers against Chicago State on April 5. Had multiple hit games five times in 2010. Drove in a season-high three runs vs. South Dakota State on April 10. Also homered in that game. Had a pair of doubles at Southern Utah on May 7. Totalled a season-high six bases at Michigan on March 27.
Before coming to IPFW
Brendan Landwehr spent the last two seasons at Clackamas Community College in Oregon City, Oregon. Landwehr played in 66 games for the Cougars. He finished his career there with a batting average of .314 with three home runs and 29 RBI. Acatcher with acannon for an arm, Landwehr threw out 13 of 19 would-be base stealers. In his two season, he committed just four errors and posted a fielding percentage of .995. Clackamas finished with a record of 22-20 in 2007, finishing third in theirRegion. In 2008, theCougars ended the season with a record of 30-17 and were also third in the Region. Landwehr was voted First-Team All-South Utility, Gold Glovecatcher in the South Region, and Gold Glove overall in the NWAACC. Was a teammate of Mastodon A.J. Christensen.
Landwehr played high school baseball at Astoria High Schoolin Astoria, Oregon. Was a two-time All-Cowapa League catcher. Named to the Oregon 4A All-Star Team. He was selected Third-Team All-State in his senior season.
Personal
Brendan is the son of Kevin and Yvonne Landwehr. He has two siblings, Taylor and Madison. Landwehr will major in Criminal Justice at IPFW.
