2010 Season
Miller saw action in 44 of IPFW's 55 games in 2010, starting 36. He hit .275 with one home run and 23 RBI. Crossed the plate twice in seven different games. Had a season-high four hits at UT-Martin on February 21 and at Butler on March 31. In that game at Butler, drove in a season-high three runs. Slugged his lone homer of the year on April 30 vs. Oral Roberts. Was 1-1 in stolen base attempts. He registered two assists in five different games.
Before coming to IPFW
Cory Miller spent two seasons at Northeastern Junior College in Sterling, Colorado before transferring to IPFW this year. Miller was part of two conference championship teams. In 2009, he helped the Plainsmen to an NJCAA Region 9 Championship. He homered in the Plainsmen[apos]s Game 3 win. During his career at Northeastern Junior College, he was named Region 9 All-Conference from his catching position.
Played high school baseball at Green Mountain High School in Lakewood, Colorado. Was named All-Jefferson County Conference in both baseball and basketball. Named second team All-State in baseball his senior season with the Rams.
Personal
Cory is the son of Carl and Pattie Miller. He has a sister, Kelsey. Miller is a Business major at IPFW.
