2010 Season
Risedorph's 2010 season, like 2007, was lost due to injury. Assumed first base coaching duties for the Mastodons.
2009 Season
A.J. Risedorph appeared in 15 games for IPFW in 2009, nine as a starter. He completed the campaign with a record of 2-4 and an ERA of 6.75. In 44.0 innings of work, Risedorph struck out 31 batters. He was the winner as IPFW beat Purdue for the first time in program history,1-0 on Mar. 15. Tossed 5.2 inningson May 9 at South Dakota State as the 'Dons beat the Jackrabbits, 7-5.Also pitched a season-high 5.2 innings at Purdue on May 24. Struck out a season-high six vs. Stony Brook on Mar. 7.
2008 Season
Risedorph made 10 appearances in relief in 2008. Earned his lone save of the season with a scoreless one-hit inning of work vs. Goshen College on March 29 at Mastodons Field. Worked just 12.1 innings, rounding back into form after sitting out 2007 due to injury. Struck out a season high three batters in 3.0 innings at Southern Utah on April 5. Had an assist at Western Illinois on April 14 and at Western Michigan on April 16.
2007 Season
Risedorph sat out the 2007 season due to injury and received a medical redshirt.
High School
Risedorph played his prep ball at East Noble High School under Coach Kevin Irons. As a Knight, he was awarded top male athlete his senior year while being named 2nd Team All-NHC as a pitcher, as well as 1st Team All-NHC(twice) and All-State Honorable Mention in football. In total, Risedorph accumulated 10 varsity letters in baseball, football and basketball. He was also named to the National Honors Society.
Personal
A.J. is the son of Randy and Iolet Risedorph. He has three brothers, Ryan, Eric and Brayden. A.J. is majoring in Secondary Education (History) at IPFW.
