Steve Danielak was the ace on the pitching staff of head coach Bob Huber at John Hersey High School in Arlington Heights, Illinois before arriving at IPFW. Danielak posted a record of 9-4 his senior season. He tossed a two-hitter and walked none in the 2010 Mid-Suburban Conference Title game for the Huskies who fell to Fremd 1-0 on an unearned run. He is a two-time All-Mid-Suburban First Team selection. Danielak was also named All-Area in 2009 and 2010.

Steve is the son of Steve and Gina Danielak. He has a brother, Mike. Danielak is majoring in Electrical Engineering at IPFW.
