Tom Tornincasa just completed his fourth season as the hitting coach for the Fort Wayne Wizards of the Midwest League. Tom will be the hitting instructor for IPFW in 2004 but will return for his fifth season with the Wizards in 2004 as well. Tornincasa's hitters have hit .253 over his four years which is fourth best in the Midwest league.
" It's great to have Tom working with our hitters. He is a quality guy that communicates very effectively. His professional background with the Padres organization is obviously a tremendous benefit to our program" said Coach Gernon.
