Played in 24 games with 17 starts…Season cut short due to a knee injury which occurred at Southern Utah…Hit .148 (9-for-61) on the year with two runs scored…Ended the season with four RBI’s and nine total bases…Walked six times and was hit by a pitch once…Held an on-base percentage of .235 and a slugging percentage of .148…Went off for a 3-for-5 day against Nebraska Omaha scoring a run and recording an RBI…Held a four-game hitting streak early in the year (March 2 – March 16)…First RBI of the season came at Southeast Missouri State (Feb. 24).

Second hit was recorded at Oral Roberts (May 1)...Lone RBI on the year also came against the Golden Eagles.

Cody O'Neal played his high school baseball at nearby Homestead High School for head coach Steve Sotir. With the Spartans, O'Neal was named All-Northeast Hoosier Conference honorable mention in 2009 and All-NHC Second Team in 2010. 2010 Team Pitching Award Winner.

Cody is the son of Howard O'Neal and Victoria Morris. O'Neal is a Business Marketing major at IPFW.
