Before coming to IPFW
Drahozal transferred to IPFW after a two-year career at Johnson County community College in Overland Park, Kansas. With the Cavaliers Drahozal helped lead the team to an overall record of 43-14 his sophomore campaign. He hit .300 while driving in 26 runs.A middle infielder he wasnamed HonorableMentionAll-Jayhawk Conference. In 2008, Darhozal hit .267 with 16 RBI. The Cavaliers posted a 41-18 record and were the NJCAA Region VI Champions.

Played his high-school ball at Xavier High School in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. With the Saints, he was named First-Team All-Metro and First-Team All MVC.

David is the son of Jeff and Debbie Drahozal. He has a brother, Nick and a sister, Jenny. Drahozal is an Engineering major at IPFW.
