PRIOR TO IPFW
Freshman Carter DeBoe comes to IPFW after graduating from Hamilton High School in Hamilton, Michigan. DeBoe was a pitcher and first baseman for the Hawkeyes. He was 9-1 with an ERA of 2.06 on the mound. He fanned 63 batters in 54.1 innings of work. At the plate, DeBoe hit .394 with five home runs and 44 RBI. He had six triples and a pair of doubles. DeBoe scored 42 runs and was a perfect 16-16 in stolen base attempts. He is a two-time All-Conference (OK Green), District, Area and County selection. He was named First Team All-State in 2010.

Carter is the son of Rodney and Christy DeBoe. He has two brothers, Brandon and Nick. DeBoe has not yet decided on a major at IPFW.
