2012 Season...
Played in 26 games with 12 starts… Recorded one hit while scoring three runs for the Mastodons… Ended the year with two RBI’s and one total base… Walked six times on the year to help post an on-base percentage of .156… Recorded 14 putouts in the field with 22 assists… Only committed one error on the season… Went 1-for-4 at Butler while scoring a run (March 9)… Picked up his first RBI of the season in the final game of the Butler series (March 11)… Recorded his second RBI of the season at Purdue (March 28).

2011 Season...
Played in 24 games during the 2011 season with two starts... Held a batting average of .067 (1-for-15)... Scored five runs for the 'Dons... Struck out six times... Stole one base... Made five putouts and recorded six assists... Lone hit of the season came at Evansville (April 1).

Before Coming to IPFW...
Played high school baseball at Rushville Consolidated in Rushville, Indiana. With the Lions of head coach Keith Perin, Hoeing was twice named All-Hoosier Heritage Conference. He is a three-time Mental Attitude Award Winner. Set the Lions' single season stolen base record in 2010 with 33. Also holds the Rushville record for career runs scored. Participated in the 2009 All-Indiana Crossroads Baseball Series at U.S. Steel Yard in Gary, Indiana.
