2010 Season
Nate Thomas appeared in 12 games for the Mastodons in 2010, starting three while hitting .176. Scored his lone run of the season on April 5 vs. Chicago State. Had a season-high two putouts at UALR on March 5.

Before coming to IPFW
Nathan Thomas played for two seasons at junior college powerhouse Johnson County C.C. in Overland Park, Kansas. Teammate of current IPFW Mastodon David Drahozal. Helped Johnson County to a record of 41-18 in 2008 while capturing the [apos]08 NJCAA Region VI Championship. In 46 games, Thomas hit .333 with three home runs and 28 RBI. An outfielder, he was caught just one time in 10 steal attempts and did not commit an error the entire season. With the Cavaliers in 2009, Thomas and his team improvedtheir overall record to43-14. In 53 games, he hit .325 with two home runs and 35 RBI. He stole 12 bases. Named Honorable Mention All-Jayhawk Conference.

As a catcher/outfielder at Beckman High School in Dyersville, Iowa, Thomas was named Second-Team All-WaMac Conference and Second-Team All-District.

Nate is the son of Jeff and Donna Thomas. He has a brother, Drew. Thomas is an Economics major at IPFW.
