Before Coming to IPFW:
Zach Hufferd arrives at IPFW after being a three-sport star at Connersville High School in Connersville, Indiana.

Also gaining honors in football and basketball, Hufferd hit .423 with three home runs and 24 RBI in 2010. He had 10 doubles, a .509 on base percentage and scored 23 runs. On the mound, Hufferd compiled a record of 4-0 and struck out 42 in 33.0 innings of work. He was named All-Conference for three years for head coach Scott Sargent.

Hufferd was a participant in the 2010 Indiana Mr. Baseball Classic.

Personal:
Zachary is the son of Gary and Linda Hufferd. He has a brother, Nathan. Hufferd is a Biology major at IPFW.
