Prior to his time at Purdue Fort Wayne, Susko a graduate assistant coach at Saint Francis University (PA). He worked with all sprints, hurdles, jumps and relays. He also coached the throws group.
In his time at SFU, he coached 15 First Team All-NEC athletes, six NEC Individual Champions, 10 First Team All-C4A/ECAC Honors. Team results include NEC Women's Outdoor Track & Field Team Champions, who scored the 4th highest points total in conference history, third place team finish at ECAC Championships (highest finish in school history), the ECAC 4x100m relay Women's Champions, and four NCAA East Regional Qualifiers. coached athletes to 28 top 10 all time performances. 2 school records, (Women's 4x100m relay school record and women's long jump school record) and was a member of the NEC Women's Coaching Staff of the Year.
Prior to his time at SFU, Susko ran at Iona under coaches Ricardo Santos, Maverick Darling and Joe Pienta. He was a three time MAAC XC Team Champion, which was part of the longest active conference winning streak in Division 1 athletics (30), was a member of 2020 MAAC indoor DMR champion and the 2018 MAAC DMR runner-up. He qualifier for IC4A Championships in indoor track, outdoor track and Cross Country. He was also a MAAC first team in the 4x400m relay in 2018 and 2019 (indoor and outdoor), and was a member of the school record holder in the SMR. Susko was also a member of SAAC at Iona and Iona's representative at the 2017 MAAC SAAC Conference in Jersey City, NJ. He graduated from Iona in 2020 with a Bachelor's in marketing.
Before his time at SFU, Susko ran at Eastern Kentucky. He was a scoring member at the Ohio Valley Conference outdoor championships as a true freshman and was also named a Colonel Scholar Athlete.
In high school, he was a state qualifier in XC at Allentown Central Catholic HS, along with that, was a team district XI title in 2015 and a medalist in the 400 meters at District XI championships in 2014. Was also a seven time letter winner across basketball, cross country and track & field.
