Amber Bowman was named the head coach of the Purdue Fort Wayne softball program on July 22, 2021.
Bowman received her bachelor's degree in 2011 and her master's degree in educational leadership in 2013 from the University of Rio Grande.

• Led Purdue Fort Wayne to a runner-up finish at the 2025 Horizon League Championship
