Casey Cromwell came to Fort Wayne in the fall of 2015 after completing her softball career at Lamar University.
Cromwell was named third-team All-Southland Conference in 2015, and was also given the team's Clutch Award and the Offensive Player of the Year honor. She was a three-time team captain, and was named to the All-Southland Academic Second Team in 2015.
She played and started in every game during her three-year Lamar career. She ended her career as the program's career leader in home runs (19), RBI's (69), doubles (21), and times hit by pitch (29). In 2015 the Lamar squad set a program record for wins (26), and posted a program-best third-place finish at the Southland Conference Tournament.
